Members of the Care Center team had another opportunity to join first responders and emergency medical service providers of several different departments to teach them how to perform life-saving measures on four-legged patients. We reviewed safe and proper restraint of injured animals, intubation, stabilizing and treating injuries in the field, medication administration, and CPR. Thank you to everyone who joined us – especially our live models!As with the previous training we took part in earlier this year, this training is one step closer to ensuring that those furry family members - including the working dogs supporting our local communities - can be given immediate care when faced with those emergency situations!
