Diagnostic Imaging

Overview

At Care Center, we insist on the immediacy and accuracy of having diagnostic imaging modalities right here onsite to help us quickly make an appropriate diagnosis. All our departments use these tools to determine the best course of treatment or to keep an eye on a specific condition your pet may have while in our care.

Diagnostic Imaging Services

Whether your family veterinarian referred you to us for a diagnostic study, or your pet is hospitalized and needs imaging, rest assured that these diagnostic procedures are painless and very safe. Some nervous pets require anesthesia to keep them calm for the procedure. Anesthesia always includes some risk, but our caring doctors and staff will review your pet’s medical record and discuss any concerns with you before performing a procedure.

The most common diagnostic modalities include:

  • Digital Radiography (X-ray)
  • Ultrasound
  • Echocardiography
  • Computed Tomography (CT Scan)
  • Fluoroscopy
