Radiology

When creating a treatment plan for your pet, Radiography is an essential, non-invasive, invaluable diagnostic tool for our emergency service and veterinary specialists.

At Care Center, our on-site Radiologist is available to support our team in interpreting x-rays and performing advanced imaging studies such as an ultrasound examination (sonogram). In addition to x-rays and ultrasound, radiologists perform advanced imaging studies such as computed tomography (CT or CAT scan), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine studies.

outpatient ultrasounds available

Care Center Dayton is pleased to offer outpatient abdominal ultrasounds for stable pets, performed by our board-certified radiologist, Dr. Lauren Timperman. Each ultrasound includes the imaging procedure and a detailed written report, which is sent directly to your referring veterinarian to support ongoing care.

To schedule an outpatient ultrasound, a completed referral form from your referring veterinarian must be submitted. Once submitted, our referral team will take care of the rest, ensuring a smooth and seamless process for you and your pet. Please note that only stable pets are eligible for outpatient ultrasound. If a patient requires urgent care or additional diagnostics, they should be evaluated through our Emergency Department.
