After receiving her DVM from The Ohio State University in 2021, Dr. Komnenovich joined Care Center to complete her advanced training in Emergency Medicine through the ER Immerse Program. Dr. Sarah Bek Komnenovich saw the need for more veterinarians in the industry and was called to the field after fostering cats through various rescue organizations. Although she has a wide range of interests in veterinary medicine including feline medicine, nutrition, and ECC, Dr. Komnenovich finds pleasure in the variety of cases found in emergency medicine. When she isn’t saving lives in the ER, Dr. Komnenovich can be found enjoying the creative arts, experiencing food from all different cultures, and spending time with her three cats – Sophia, Pixie, and Leopold Leopoldovich.
