An Ohio native, Dr. Lauren Timperman attended The Ohio State University where she obtained her DVM in 2016. Following, she completed a one year Rotating Internship at Texas A&M, before returning to OSU to complete her Radiology Residency in 2020. Dr. Timperman has always had a love and passion for animals. While growing up in a very medical-oriented family full of human physicians and nurses, veterinary medicine was really the only career she ever considered pursuing. During veterinary school, Dr. Timperman had a wide variety of interests, but gravitated towards diagnostic image. Dr. Timperman loves the idea of playing such a critical role in the diagnostics and clinical decision making of so many patients across the hospital. Being in radiology has allowed her to interact with nearly every specialty service on a daily basis, ranging from small animal emergency to large animal surgery. When Dr. Timperman is not at Care Center, she can be found in the gym, enjoying time boating and kayaking on the lake, or spending time with her dog, Maddox. See Dr. Timperman’s welcome video here!
