Dr. Caitlin Schmidt is the part of our Integrative Medicine department. After obtaining her DVM from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Schmidt went on to complete her additional certifications. She obtained her CCRP through the University of Tennessee and her CVA through Chi University. Dr. Schmidt hopes to bring a holistic, multimodal approach to Care Center’s Integrative Medicine services. With the perspective of a veterinarian, CCRP, and CVA, Dr. Schmidt is excited to tailor treatment to each patient she sees. Ever since she was young, Dr. Schmidt wanted to be a veterinarian; she was always drawn to rehabilitation and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and the opportunities to assist patients with unique treatment options. She finds the most fulfilment when a patient begins to show progress – especially at home!
