Dr. Brittany Koether has always had a passion for animals and emergency medicine. Both of her parents were police officers, and she grew up alongside working police dogs – sparking an interest in animals at a young age. Dr. Koether has a special interest in equine medicine, as well as the collaborative, team approach found in emergency medicine. Dr. Koether received her DVM from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 before receiving her certification in animal chiropractic medicine from Animal Chiropractic Education Source in 2019. When she isn’t saving lives in our emergency department, Dr. Koether can be found running and hiking with her Long Haired German Shepherd, Kahlua, and spending time with her family, friends, her partner Matt, and his children.
