Dr. Alec Repasy received his DVM from The Ohio State University in 2018. He then went on to complete his rotating internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, before returning to The Ohio State University to complete his residency in medical oncology in 2022. After having been an owner of a pet with an aggressive cancer diagnosis, and with his own mother being a two-time survivor of stage IV breast cancer, Dr. Repasy’s interest and passion in Oncology, and his ability to assist those through a difficult time, grew. Cancer is a daunting, overwhelming diagnosis for most, but Dr. Repasy strives to open the conversation – discussing the wide range of treatment options available – with each of his clients. With a special focus in chemotherapy, Dr. Repasy emphasizes the quality of a patient’s life, not the quantity and aims to ensure that his clients understand all options, finding the best route of treatment for their pet together. In his spare time, Dr. Repasy enjoys all things Marvel and Star Wars related, exercising, yoga, gardening, and spending time with his dog Phoebe, and his cats Charlie and Dee.
