Care Center Opens a New State-of-the-Art Veterinary Hospital
Offering Additional Specialty Services to Community
DAYTON, OH, June 12, 2019—Care Center, located in Centerville, is proud to announce the opening of its new, expanded, state-of-the-art 15,000-square-foot, 24-hour veterinary emergency and specialty center located at 6421 Clyo Road, Centerville. On June 3, the hospital transitioned from its 5,000-square-foot hospital to the newly constructed building right next door. The nationally respected, Care Center has cared for pets throughout The Buckeye State since 2008.
The new hospital features cutting-edge technology to further elevate patient care with an MRI, CT and fluoroscope. In addition, Care Center is also expanding its veterinary services to include surgery, interventional radiology, and acupuncture.
“Each specialty service we offer is a direct result of the growing demand by pet owners to have access to outstanding medical care,” says Dr. Doug Hoffman, Group President of Care Center. “We are so proud that our new hospital can house new specialties along with our current services of cardiology, and internal medicine, with expanded 24-hour emergency and critical care support.”
With 11 doctors, including five board-certified veterinarians, and more than 40 support staff members, the opening of the new hospital marks another important milestone for Care Center. Since its opening 11 years ago, Care Center has never been closed a single day and that tradition has continued, even as the hospital transitioned to its new location.
The hospital was designed by architecture firm Luminaut and was constructed by Miller-Valentine Group, to specifically maximize patient care, by allowing critical care patients the environment they need, and general patients the ability to easily enter and exit the hospital.
Care Center has two Ohio locations in Centerville and Cincinnati.
