Dr. Peruski is originally from Canton, Michigan. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University, then relocated to The Ohio State University and became a Buckeye! She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery and served as a clinical instructor in shelter medicine and critical care. Dr. Peruski went on to complete a three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care at OSU and earned her board certification. Interested in all aspects of critical care, Dr. Peruski has special interests in treating patients experiencing shock, bleeding disorders and the use of mechanical ventilation. She has a special interest in transfusion medicine and helped develop the Care Center Animal Blood Bank.
