Since a young age, Dr. Taylor Ford knew she wanted to be a veterinarian due to her love of animals. She has always been drawn to emergency medicine as she values the challenge that certain cases give her, as well as the everchanging and evolving environment. After receiving her Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science from Morehead State University in 2015, Dr. Ford went on to The Ohio State University where she obtained her DVM in 2019. Wanting to be closer to family and friends, she moved back home and joined the Care Center emergency team in 2020. When Dr. Ford is not saving lives in our emergency room, she can be found doing activities outdoors, reading, traveling, or spending time with her dogs, Sandy, Penelope, and Gus.
