Dr. Tammy LaBar graduated from Michigan State University in 1999. With interest in both medicine and animals, Dr. LaBar gravitated towards the veterinary field and has been saving lives ever since. She has always very much enjoyed the complexity of cases found in emergency and critical care. With over 20 years of emergency and critical care experience, the Care Center is excited to have Dr. LaBar join our team! With special interests in transfusion therapy, progressive medicine, and training staff members, we look forward to the impact she will have on our hospital, clients, and patients. In her spare time, Dr. LaBar enjoys Zumba and fitness, gardening, beaches, and other water activities. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, her dogs (Kozmo and Milo); her cats (Sage, Orange Cat and Elle); as well as her chickens and pigeons.
